3 Days

Serengeti | Ngorongoro | Comfortable Lodges | Shared Adventure

Experience the best of Tanzania's wildlife on this comfortable 3-day group lodge safari, offering the perfect balance of affordability and comfort. This carefully crafted itinerary takes you to two of Africa's most spectacular parks - Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater - while enjoying the comforts of quality lodges and tented camps.

Your adventure begins with an early departure from Arusha, heading straight to the endless plains of Serengeti where you'll spend your first day searching for the Big Five and witnessing incredible wildlife concentrations. As the sun sets, relax at your comfortable lodge, sharing stories with fellow travelers over delicious meals.

The second day takes you into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often called "Africa's Eden" for its dense wildlife populations. After a full day of game viewing, you'll stay at a lodge on the crater rim with breathtaking views. Our professional guides ensure you have an informative and exciting experience while maximizing wildlife sightings.

3-Day Group Lodge Safari: Comfortable Wildlife Adventure

Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Depart Arusha at 6:00 am for the scenic drive to Serengeti National Park (approximately 6 hours with stops). Enjoy a picnic lunch at Naabi Hill Gate before entering the park. Spend the afternoon on your first game drive, searching for lions, leopards, elephants, and the Great Migration herds (seasonal). As the sun sets, arrive at Serengeti Tortilis Camp, a comfortable tented lodge with en-suite facilities. Enjoy dinner and share stories with your group about the day's wildlife sightings. Fall asleep to the sounds of the African bush.

Day 2: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Early morning game drive in Serengeti when predators are most active. Return to camp for breakfast, then depart for Ngorongoro with game viewing en route. Stop at Olduvai Gorge museum (optional, small fee applies) to learn about human evolution. Continue to Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge on the crater rim, arriving in time to enjoy sunset views over the crater. Dinner at the lodge with opportunities to mingle with other safari-goers in the comfortable lounge area.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Descend into Ngorongoro Crater at dawn for a spectacular morning of game viewing in this natural wonder. The crater's enclosed ecosystem supports about 25,000 large animals, including the rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic breakfast at the scenic Hippo Pool. Continue searching for wildlife until late morning, then ascend the crater walls and begin the journey back to Arusha. Stop for lunch (own expense) in Karatu town, arriving in Arusha by late afternoon for drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
