Day 1: Arusha to Maasai Lands near Tarangire

Day 3: Lake Manyara & Cultural Heritage

Day 4: To Serengeti via Olduvai Gorge
Journey toward Serengeti National Park, stopping at Olduvai Gorge museum with its human evolution exhibits. Visit a Datoga tribe village en route, meeting this lesser-known ethnic group and learning about their blacksmithing traditions. Enter Serengeti in the afternoon with game viewing en route to your lodge. Evening cultural presentation about Maasai-Serengeti relationships. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Cultural Tented Camp.
Day 5: Serengeti Wildlife & Cultural Insights
Full day in Serengeti with a unique combination of wildlife viewing and cultural experiences. Morning game drive focusing on how Maasai traditionally interacted with these ecosystems. Visit a research station working with local communities on human-wildlife conflict solutions. Afternoon spent at a mobile Maasai boma, learning about seasonal movements in relation to wildlife migrations. Sundowner with Maasai warriors sharing hunting stories (now historical as they no longer hunt wildlife). Overnight at Serengeti Cultural Tented Camp.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Morning game drive en route to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where Maasai live alongside wildlife. Descend into the crater for spectacular game viewing with cultural commentary about coexistence traditions. Picnic lunch at Hippo Pool. Afternoon visit to a Maasai village on the crater rim, participating in traditional dances and learning about coming-of-age rituals. Farewell dinner with your guides sharing stories of cultural change. Overnight at Ngorongoro Cultural Lodge.
Day 7: Ngorongoro to Arusha
After breakfast, visit a women's beading cooperative to purchase authentic crafts directly from artisans. Drive back to Arusha with a stop at a local market. Arrive by early afternoon for drop-off at your hotel or airport, taking with you profound connections to Tanzania's people and wildlife.
